Media Consolidation: the illusion of choice.

Fucking radio, man. This is what I’ve been telling people for ages. They’ve hardly changed the fucking playlists since the fucking 80s. And they certainly haven’t changed the hierarchy of bands. It’s run by statisticians, by clueless people who don’t know enough to play anything outside the same 4 classic rock or pop-chart hits, OR by people indiscriminately playing the media-granted-popular “new hits”. Almost no broadcasting involves any real free will or attempt at diversity.

Clear Channel is basically one of the worst companies in the world and I work for them and I hate it.
